CardFollowUp Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Find Friends For, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") processes information when you use the CardFollowUp iOS application, website, and related Relationship Management System (RMS) services.
Information CardFollowUp processes
Depending on the features you choose, CardFollowUp may process:
- Business contact details, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, websites, companies, and job titles.
- Contacts you select from Apple Contacts and contact information extracted from business cards, QR codes, or barcodes.
- Event names, conversation notes, follow-up context, sender-profile information, and other text you provide.
- RMS account information, such as your email address, account or user identifier, organization, and authentication tokens.
- An app-installation identifier and, when background synchronization is enabled, an Apple Push Notification service device token.
How information is used
We use this information only to provide and operate CardFollowUp features, including:
- Reviewing and saving contacts to Apple Contacts, RMS, or a CRM provider you connect.
- Researching a business and creating personalized follow-up email drafts for your review.
- Synchronizing RMS follow-up actions and calendar reminders when those features are enabled.
- Authenticating accounts, maintaining security, preventing duplicate records, and providing support.
On-device processing
Business-card images and OCR are processed on the device and are not uploaded by CardFollowUp. When on-device transcription is available, audio remains on the device; only text that you review and choose to use may become part of lead notes. Apple Contacts and Apple Calendar access are controlled through iOS permissions. Subscription billing is handled by Apple, and CardFollowUp does not receive payment-card details.
Service providers and connected services
CardFollowUp uses service providers to perform app functions. These may include Vercel for application hosting, Supabase for RMS authentication and data storage, OpenAI for optional business research, and Apple for App Store billing and push delivery. If you connect a CRM, contact data you choose to save is sent to that provider, such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho, or Microsoft Dynamics. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention
Contact and follow-up information saved to RMS or a connected CRM remains there until it is deleted according to that service's controls and retention practices. Service providers may retain request and security records according to their terms. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.
No advertising tracking or sale of data
CardFollowUp does not use collected information for cross-app advertising tracking, does not include an advertising network, and does not sell personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can review contact information before saving it, choose whether to send a contact to RMS or a connected CRM, disconnect CRM accounts, revoke Contacts, Camera, Calendar, Microphone, Speech Recognition, or Notification permissions in iOS Settings, and delete locally stored app data by removing the app. To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by us, email dc@findfriendsfor.com.
Children
CardFollowUp is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as CardFollowUp changes. The updated date above identifies the current version.
